In remembrance of those affected by the Grenfell fire

The silence will take place on the steps of Ealing Town Hall, Uxbridge Road W5.

Councillor Dhami will be joined by the deputy mayor, Councillor Dr Abdullah Gulaid, the leader of the council Councillor Julian Bell and Ealing Council’s chief executive Paul Najsarek.

Councillor Tenjinder Dhami, The Mayor of Ealing said: “As we approach the first anniversary of the tragic fire where 72 people lost their lives, we wish to show our suppot to all those affected.  Members of the public are welcome to join with Ealing Council staff on Thursday at noon in this act of remembrance.”

Ealing Council will demonstrate its support of the Grenfell United group by using both external and internal lighting in an act of solidarity to turn Ealing town hall green.  The lighting will be in place through the night of 13 June to dusk on 14 June.
