Talk Future Ealing - summer 2018

Many of you have been taking part in a conversation with the council about how to make the borough better, during its Talk Future Ealing roadshow – and there will be plenty more opportunities in October.

The roadshow was taken across the borough to a variety of events over the summer, and also to local ward forums in September, while stalls popped up in other spots.

Four more ward forums listed below will devote part of their regular meeting to Talk Future Ealing in October. There will be a short presentation followed by a chance to ask questions. There will also be displays, information to take away and a feedback kiosk.

Anyone can come to these meetings. You do not have to live in the specific ward:

  • 7pm Tuesday, 2 October – Northolt West End: Rectory Park (Community Room), Middlesex FA, Ruislip Road, Northolt UB5 5FA
  • 7pm Wednesday, 10 October – Hobbayne: Mayfield Primary School, High Lane, Hanwell W7 3RT
  • 7.30pm Thursday, 18 October – Ealing Broadway: Council chamber, Ealing Town Hall, New Broadway W5 2BY
  • 7pm Wednesday, 31 October – Greenford Broadway: Greenford Hall, The Ante Room, Ruislip Road, Greenford UB6 9QN.
‘WE’VE HEARD SOME INTERESTING IDEAS’

Council leader Julian Bell said: “I have enjoyed being out and about at summer festivals, talking to residents face-to-face about our plans for Ealing, as well as having the opportunity to explain some of the challenges we are up against. One thing that is clear is that most people want to do their bit to help and to improve their local area and we’ve heard some interesting ideas from people about what they could do to make Ealing better, as well as hear what many people are already doing.”

If you cannot attend one of these meetings, you can still find out more, and also have your say online, by visiting www.ealing.gov.uk/futureealing and following the links.
